Looking at Versions of Edited Photo in Elements 2020

Need some help.
1,  I am new to Photoshop and have just purchased Elements 2020.
2.  In the older Elements, you could look at the different versions of a photo that was edited, including the original, and saved to Organizer.  When I do it, I can see that there are different versions of a photo (upper right-hand corner of the thumbnail) but am trying to figure how to open the different versions to compare them.

Press Ctrl+D.  That will put you into the Details view.  You are currently in the default Adaptive view.

A thousand thanks. It worked.  Still navigating my way through the program.  Of course, by the time I get halfway-semi proficient, they'll come out with a new iteration. Is there a way of making the Details view the default view?

Once you have set the Details view, it will remain "sticky" until you change it.
