Loss of catalog details

I have created and edited a catalog using Elements 13.  When I come out of the application and subsequently access it again all my media data and editing have disappeared. What am I doing wrong.

    I request you to please elaborate more on the issue. Please mention the steps/ editing you are doing to catalog and which not getting reflected. Mentioning the workflow of any scenario would be helpful in understanding the issue and assisting you accordingly.
