Lost Preview of Video files after update to Windows 11

I am running Photoshop Elements 11. Recently upgraded to Windows 11. I am sure I could see a preview thumbnail of video clips in Organiser before. Now all I can see is a blank image with a file designation, mov, mp4 etc. Have I ‘lost’ a codec?

I had a similar issue with some videos from my drone. With me it turned out to be corrupted meta data- I downloaded some fixit utility for $29- it instantly fiexed no more issues ,ever. If you want can dig it it up and let you know what the product is.
