Lumix G8 RAW

Question

I have a Lumix G8 but can't edit RAW files in Elements 14. Message   "Elements cannot open this file".  I have checked I have latest updates.

The Lumix G8 was first supported in Camera Raw 9.7 which is only compatible with Elements 15. So you'll never be able to open Raw files from that camera in Elemnts 14.

Options:

Upgrade to Elements 15 and edit your Raw files in Elements 15, or
Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all Lumix G8 Raw files to DNG format then edit the DNG files (not the Raw files) in Elements 14. An extra step for you but no extra cost.
