Mac organizer prob with Photo Elements 13 catalog

Photo Elements 13 Organizer wouldn't run so I installed 15 and I would like to use my old albums. How do I get them back?

    Hi Robin,

    Apologies for the delay in response.

    Please try out following steps and see if it helps:

    1. While launching Elements Organizer, keep Shift key presses

    2. Manage catalogs dialog will pop up > click on new to create a new catalog

    3. Once you are able to create a new catalog, go to Edit > preferences > Files

    4. Uncheck the option to : Automatically reconnect missing files and Automatically generate thumbnails for video files.

    5. Once done, try switching to your older catalog from File > Manage Catalogs

    The organizer won't open. When I click on the icon it freezes. I have tried several ways to open it but nothing happens. Maybe the catalog is damaged. I can open the 13 Editor but not the Organizer.

    Well that fixed it I ran the repair catalog twice and it was fixed. I thank you for assisting me in this fix. Well done...

    Do you want to open your PSE13 catalog in PSE15? If yes, best way is to convert your catalog. This would bring all the organization you did in PSE13 catalog.
