Just downloaded Elements 2018 trial on to my macbook pro. however, she I try to open a photo a message says that elements does not support this type of file. Surely this can't be right otherwise here would be no point having the programme. Am doing something wrong?
What type of file is it? Is it in the Photos app? If so, Apple hides your original so that you can revert to it at any time.
In that case export a copy from Photos to the desktop and then use that in Elements.
