MacBook Pro Upgrade - error:6?

I just upgraded my MacBook  to High Sierra from Lion - and now my Photoshop Elements 8 does not work.

It says that the "Licensing for this product has stopped working" and "Error 6"

It prompted me to restart, which I have many times, and then suggested I contact Adobe Support.

Is it too old of a program to work now?

Help!

    Please try out the solutions mentioned in article- Errors "Exit Code 6" and "Exit Code 7" installing Adobe CS6, CS5.5, CS5, Premiere Elements, and Photoshop Elements
