macOS Catalina: PSE installs and opens home screen but will not open editor/organizer

Recently purchase PSE to replace my CS 5.1 that no longer works with Catalina. I have no issues with the install or launch, until I try to launch any of the editors or organizer from the "home" page. I have tried opening the photo editor and organizer directly from their respective applications, still no go. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application, but no luck. Was PSE 2019 not designed to work with Catalina? Or is there something I can alter to get this app to open.
