making individual photos from videos

I use Photoshop Elements 8. I have several videos and would like to be able to extract shots and make them into individual photos. Is this possible?

Hi,

frame extraction can be done automatically (or manually if you so choose) by using Candid Moments in Premiere Elements 2018. Please refer to the YouTube video for a sneak peak of the Candid Moments feature. You can download the trial version of Premiere Elements 2018 from here to explore this feature.
