Manually marking faces in PSE2018

So I have turned off automatic face recognition as being too quirky and a resource hog.

However when I now go to Mark a Face in Organizer, it tells me that facial recognition has not been run, and asks would I like to run it now.

Well, I dont, I want to manually mark a face.

Is there a way to do that, or do you have add it as a regular tag only?
