Manuel sort album

I am trying to manually sort an album in Elements 2024 Organizer.  I read the help section which says the under "SOrt by" in media view there should be a choice called "album order".  However when I click "sort by" I get all the choices except album order.  What is the issue here?  Thank you for any advice.

    I have a YouTube video which demonstrates the benefits of albums, and album order as a source for creations such as slideshows.

      You have to select an album before the sort order is available.
