Media Type filtered out of the display

When I try to go to my photos in Photoshop Elements 11 the menu pops up "The media type you are searching for has been filtered out of the display via the View>Media Types? And none of my latest photos I downloaded from my camera are there?

So, did you check the menu View>media types ?

Are all types checked, especially Photos and Videos ?
