Question

Menu is empty - no tasks shown

Hi there,

after starting my Photoshop Elements 11 today, I noticed that the menu is empty - no tasks were shown.

Okay, the menu is not really empty, but You can not read any of the tasks. You can scroll down, and chose one of the "hidden" tasks, but You can not read, what You are doing.

I tried to fix the program by reinstalling, but the problem is still the same.

I guess the problem arrised with one of the updates, Windows 10 did the last month, because in March my Elements 11 worked normally.

Is there anyone knowing that problem and having a solution?

Thanks a lot!

Greetings,

Meik

    Hi meikn,

I understand you are facing issue with Elements 11 after installing updates for Windows 10.

    Firstly,

Could you please check this forum thread.

    Secondly,

You can also install 2017-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4020102)

You can download & install it with this link

    Hope this work for you.

    Thanks

    Regards

    Dhananjay

    Hi Dhananjay,

resetting my PC does not work.

I can only set it back to the starting-point or to a point just a week ago.

Starting-point is no option, because that is nearly half a year in the past.

And the last time Elements works good was in April (since then I did not use it).

So I tried the "cumulative Update" You adviced.

But that also does not fixed the problem - still no tasks!

    Greetings,
