Menu of Elements 15 vs. Element 9

It took me a while to learn how to use Photoshop Elements. I don't like the Guide system on Elements 15. Too old to learn new tricks.   Is there a way I can change it to a menu format like in Elements 9? (Windows has new look but you change back to old school look)
