Menu print too small

Just re-installed PSE 24 on a new Windows laptop, and the menu fonts are way too small. I checked posts & found one that related to changing the DPI settings in "Compatibility"...but now the whole screen and print are HUGE. I tried to change it back to default, but screen size doesn't change. How do I simply get the menu font a little larger without having the whole screen huge?
