Merging PSE Catalog with Lightroom Classic that is fully updated with Ver. 11.1

I create my photo collection using PSE 20 and a Catalog that was created in and called PSE Catalog 2022.  My workflow and use is suited for me using this method and I wanted to learn Photoshop although I prefer the PSE organization of files.  All my Adobe Apps resides in an External Drive.  I recentl purchased a new computer that operates under Windows 11. I attempted the merge of catalogs but failed several time over the past several months; experts in the use of LrC indicated that in the past LrC does not catch up to these types of OS changes immediately.  The big issue is that my captioning does not get into the Metadata. Is this a know issue that I will have to just live with?

For the record ALL - the problem was with Adobe not getting the feature ready for Windows 11 was not able to effectuate the merger.  When it could LrC sent me a pop-up asking me if I wanted to merge the two catalogs - it worked perfectly on the first try 🙂  I understand this has been a known bug over the years when the OS is changed substantially - at least for few months after the general population was able to purchase WIN11 computers
