MetaData in PSE 18 How do I get the date the picture was taken?

I have a Sony A6000 for my camera.  I use PSE 18 on a Windows 10 PC.  Can someone help me with my metadata?

The photo highlighted was taken in 2015.  But, as you can see – it is given a much more recent date for the time it was created. I imagine the date that PSE is giving here, is the date the photo was imported into PSE.  I would like to learn how to make my metadata tell me when the picture was taken, not when it was imported into PSE.

I imagine this is a ‘camera thing’.  Like I got to tweak some settings in my camera.  However, I thought I would ask you all first before messing with my camera.

Thank you!

I assume the camera information is missing. If the file contains EXIF data you can usually expand the camera section to read it. See image below.
