I HAVE BEEN USING PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 10 FOR ABOUT SIX YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS BUT SUDDENLY WHEN TRYING TO USE THE  CLONE STAMP  TOOL I GET THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE ;-"UNABLE TO USE CLONE STAMP TOOL DUE TO PROGRAM ERROR"

I HAVE TRIED SEARCHING FOR AN ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM WITH NO SUCCESS, CAN ANYBODY HELP, I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL.

Try the following:

1. Reset the tool via the icon on the tool's option bar.

2. If that does not fix it, Go to Edit>General and reset preferences on next launch
