Missing effects, filters and styles

I am in Expert mode in Photoshop Elements 14 and when I open up effects, filters and styles, nothing shows up. I tried to reset the panel and still nothing shows up. I also tried to "load" the effects in and elements takes me to a screen > 14.0 > Presets > Actions but nothing is in this directory.

Hi,

Can you please try out below steps and let us know if that resolves your problem.

1. Go to C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\14.0\Locale\<you locale> (ex: en_US)

2. Rename MediaDatabase.db3 to MediaDatabase.db3.old

3. Now relaunch Photoshop Elements Editor application.

This should resolve your issue.
