Missing ippcve9.dll

Tried to download/install elements 2024. When installed it would not load and a message appeared saying that ippcve9.dll was missing. How can I purchase/install your product if you do not provide the proper dll's?

Should that not be a part of the program and downloads?

What can a customer do to effectively install elements when the dll is missing?

Thank You

@Brenda36858156l79n, did you install in compatibility mode? If you are still having problems installing the older version, I suggest you contact Adobe Support.

why would one have to install an older version when they have paid for the latest version? Like the above, I bought PE and PEP and have the identical problems as above. And yes, my PC meets all the rquirements.

@tracyc39 the workaround seems to be working for most users.  I suggest you contact Adobe Support.

(And it would be helpful if you answered my question about your computer specifications.)

Got it, and thanks for your patience.  I "grandfathered" the specifications in because the first time I installed PS 2024 it worked beautifully.  Great results.  Then, when I purchased it (from the free trial phase), it stopped working and the dll message appeared.  No Joy ever since.

I tried Support, but No Joy there, either.

Please look at this this post which provides a link to the earlier version of Elements 2024 and instructions to roll back to that version (and turn off updates).   Can you also confirm whether or not your computer is compliant with the Elements 2024 requirements.
