Missing names for faces after conversion from pse 2021 to 2024

I purchased and downloaded PSE 2024. When the installation completed, it asked if I wanted to convert the catalogue. I pressed the button to convert. It asked if I wanted to import keywords and I checked them all. I had saved metadata for all the photos in 2021 so the names for faces were also saved as keyword tags in Windows. After the conversion was done, which took several hours, I found faces of people grouped to add names to them, but none of the names that were in the previous catalogue appeared in. I now have hundreds of grouped faces that are identified as "Add Name (###)". What have I done wrong?
