Missing Smart Objects Options

Hi all,

I feel like I'm going mad, but hopefully someone can help!

I downloaded Photoshop Elements 2020, mainly because I wanted to adjust colours (sorted!), and to warp photos, so I could make one photo fit to another.

I have seen the videos and tutorials on smart objects, but unless I am going mad, I do not have that as an option anywhere on my Photoshop. I have right clicked on images, I have checked in the layers options, and it is nowhere. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Any help with this would be so appreciated!!
