Monitor Calibration

I recently purchased an ASUS Sprectre x360 -13t 2-in-1 laptop. For years I have been calibrating my desktop monitor with an ancient GretagMacbeth Eye-One Display2. My new laptop colors do not agree with the desktop monitor. I wonder if I can use the Eye-One Display2 on the new laptop? I don't want to seriously mess up the new laptop so I am afraid to try. The laptop has Windows 10. My desktop has Windows 7. I have installed a new Photoshop Elements 2018 on the laptop.

I emailed customer service at X-Rite as they took over the GretagMacbeth devices. I did not receive a reply. I know my device is old technology but I really can't afford the new devices.

Any help you can give me would be appreciated.
