I'm trying to move 28000 pictures from elements 10 to elements 15 maintaining tags and all groups that I'm now using in 10.

How do I do this?

Thanks in advance

Are you installing PSe15 on the same computer than the one with PSE10? If so, no need to move anything. Simply 'convert' the catalog to the new format (menu File >> manage catalogs, 'convert' button.)

When installing PSE15, you'll be prompted to convert the current catalog.

Create and edit catalogs in Adobe Elements Organizer

If you are migrating to a new computer, do a full backup and restore on the new computer. That will COPY your image folders tred AND your catalog before converting it.

Move Elements Organizer catalog | Elements 6 or later

My elements 10 is partially corrupt, it still works but the pull down menus are almost unreadable, do I do all the conversions in 15 or do I still need 10 for any of this task?

    Thanks

You need not un-install PSE10, both PSE10 and PSE15 can co-exist on the same machine.
