I tried to install PSE 14 on a new PC, but was unable to activate it.  The link provided in the installation process didn't work.  Others have had the same experience.

This has nothing to do with the original post, which is about PSE6.

Please start a new discussion and describe what you did to reinstall PSE14 on a new PC. If you did find similar problems, it does not hurt to provide links to those conversations. Anyway, what is important is your own problem. Tell us more about it and specify if you got error messages.

PSE 6 may not run on Windows 10 or 11.

It was running on Windows 10 on the old hard drive.

That software is 14 years old.  If the program was pre-installed on your computer, it was probably part of an OEM license that cannot be transferred to another computer.  If your computer came with installation files on a CD, it may be possible to install from there.  But I seriously doubt whether you can transfer it.

No CD so I guess it's lost.
