If that is case don't forget to block that person, change all your email passords, check your bank accounts online change passwords there too; check your bank account(s) statements more often  to spot discrepancies, ask for your free copy of a credit report and examine what it  is said there about you, and if you haven't done so yet, start using a VPN at home and your mobile device to benefit from  a more reliable email encryption.

On more about the bank(s) and credit card companies you have used online, inform them too of this inceident ensuring that make notes in their system so that everytime you call (or a scammer)  they have to ask for a challenge password or something that only you know. Do the same with the credit beaureus and activate a freeze if you have so only you give permission to whoever wants to do a credit check on you.

Best course of action, add to your list to research for a reliable online reputation management software, and start anonymizing yourself, then file a complaint with the fraud department (Cyber) with the local police (just to be proactive).

And raise awareness to your immediate family members so they are not answering stuff to on your behalf without your consent to unknown caller ID phone calls at home at anytime ( specially during evening hours  between 7PM and later)

A complication on Mac if using the Pictures folder is that is also linked to the Photos App and iCloud Photos (if activated) so there can be a danger in referencing the same files in Organizer and Photos which is problematic. I would normally keep the photo files in a different location (outside of the Time Machine backup folders) if regularly using Organizer to make full or incremental backups.
