moving photoshop elements program to external hard drive?

I have recently purchased photoshop elements for my laptop however photoshop elements says there is not enough storage space to complete the final installations. I cant make enough storage space on my laptop so I am trying to move the photoshop elements program to a external hard drive that does have enough space but I do not know how to do this???  

any suggestions to solve problem or a simpler way to do things?
