Hey @Erik Foto! Thanks for reaching out! I totally get how annoying this can be. Can you share your system info version with us? In Photoshop, go to Help > System info, copy the contents, and paste them into a text or Word file to share with us.

 

Also, when this happens, do you see an option to send a crash report or an error code/message? If you can, please share any screenshots or screen recordings too! You can upload them via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or any other public file-sharing site.

 

In the meantime, give these fixes a shot and see if they help.

 

1) Update everything: there's a newer version of Photoshop, v 27.0. Also, make sure your OS is up to date. If you’re on a Windows PC, don’t forget to update your GPU drivers. If you have an NVIDIA GPU, update it to the latest Studio driver available.

2) Reset your preferences: You can find out how to do it here:
