Question

My Photoshop Elements 7.0 on Windows 10 won't allow me to save gifs...

Basically, I made several images and made them visible because I wanted to create a gif I can use as a sprite for a game. However, when I've tried saving for web and then doing Save As > Gif, it doesn't work. What's worse, I can't access this as an administrator because this is my personal account on my dad's old computer, and I don't know the password.

Is there a way to fix this? I'd hate to buy another version of Photoshop if it can't be fixed.

I went through that, and it says I need to renew my subscription.

I guess I'll need to wait until I have more money to do that.

Thanks for the help, though. I looked everywhere and haven't seen an answer online.

No errors, it just didn't save it at all, which I thought was bizzare.

    Thanks for this information.

Request you to reset your preferences as mentioned on link Preference file locations for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements .

Restart PSE and then try Saving as GIF.

Let me know if that works.

    Thanks,

    Hi Collin,

Did you get any errors while saving as GIF?  If yes, then please post the screenshot of the same in your reply.

Meanwhile, you can checkout Save and export images in Photoshop Elements , if this helps.

    Thanks,

    Arshla
