Need to commit current operation?

I seem to remember just being able to click off of my selection after moving it or resizing it. Now it seems like I always have to click the little green checkmark to 'commit to the current operation'. Is ther a way to change it so I can just click off of it and get it to 'commit' on my MAC.

Hi,

You can also commit the selection double clicking on the selected area on the canvas in place of always clicking the green commit checkbox.
