New Camera - Elements 2014 does not appear to support

I have Photoshop Elements 2014 which I am very pleased with. I have bought a new camera Lumix G9 which does not seem to be compatible with the version of elements with regard to RAW files. I have checked for updates and the software is up to date.

1) Is there a patch for my camera I can buy ?

2) or do I need to buy Elements 2019?

3) If No 2 is the answer. How will I know my new camera is supported by by Elements 2019?

Thanks, Roy

    Hi Roy,

You can use the DNG converter to convert your RAW files to DNG format and then you'll be able to use them in Elements 2014: Digital Negative (DNG), Adobe DNG Converter | Adobe Photoshop CC

You can check this article to know if you're camera is compatible with the Camera Raw version installed on your system: Cameras supported by Camera Raw

You can check this article to know if you're camera is compatible with the Camera Raw version installed on your system: Cameras supported by Camera Raw

The G9 was first supported in Camera Raw 10.1 which is only compatible with Elements 2019.

So the choices are to upgrade to 2019 or stay with Elements 14 and use the DNG converter.
