New files much smaller on screen in Photoshop Elements 15

I recently switched from Photoshop Elements 10 to 15.  Whenever I open an identical size file it is much smaller on the screen.  Everything that I can see is the same-pixel dimension, document size, resolution.  This is killing my eyes.  Why is this happening?
