New Sony Camera Shoots ARW, But Elements 2014 Won’t Open Them

I recently got a Sony camera.  Set it to take pics as jpg and raw.  Did not realize it wouldn't be raw, but arw format.  How do I edit on Elements 2014?

Which model Sony camera do you have?

 

Depending on how new your Sony camera is, PSE 2014's Camera Raw plugin may not be able to updated to the one you need, so in that case you can use the Adobe DNG Converter to convert the .arw files to dng copies, which then PSE 2914 should be able to open.

    Hey @JimmyBeePhotography, 

    You may need to convert your files to DNG format, but this will only work if your camera’s raw files are currently supported. You can check the list of supported camera models here: https://adobe.ly/3G05Mjh
