New Update Deleted Loaded Styles AGAIN! Can I stop updates?

I really dislike PSE 21, but my old versions 15 and 11 (which I loved) would not work on my new computer, so I was forced to upgrade. Every single time an update comes out, it deletes ALL of the styles I've loaded into PSE - HUNDREDS of them. I have to manually reinstall every one of them. I didn't want to do the last update for fear of what it was going to mess up this time - and sure enough, it deleted all of the styles again. I only did the update because I was tired of it popping up every single time I loaded PSE. Is there a way to stop the updates from popping up constantly asking me to install?
