nik collection and photoshop elements 2018

My former computer died and I decided to reinstall the newer 2018 version (I have Elements 13 previously).  I downloaded Nik from its new owner.  It installed but I was not able to get anything to work except Color, Analog and Viveza.  The installation creates shortcuts in the piug in pointing to the Google folder - evidently the new owners are still packaging it under the name "Google."  I noticed nothing had been changed since 2015.  I also discovered you can run the other four standalone though you have to be careful there is no confirmation box when you save a file.  Evidently the problem lies with Photoshop 2018 not recognizing some commands rather than Google's sale of the product, which it appears the new owners have not done anything with yet.
