Using Photoshop Elements Organizer 14 on a Windows 10 laptop.

I'm trying to create a slide show from multiple people tags.  When I click on the first people tag, 94 photos load into the center of the screen and the name of the tag appears left most in the gray title bar for that area.  When I click on the second people tag, the tag name is added to the gray title bar for the center area but that area clears and message "No media available. Please clear applied filter and try again." is displayed.

Also, some people tags that I select as a first tag cause the above message to immediately displayed even though I know there are photos carrying that people tag; but no photos are displayed.

Thanks,

Jack

Happily, I found a solution to this problem.  I don’t know why it works but perhaps that’s a research topic for another time.  The following sequence of steps allowed me to create the slide show I wanted consisting of multiple people tags in the PSE 14 Organizer:

    1. I first selected Ida’s people tag (Ida) and 28 images loaded.

    2.  Next, I selected Pete’s tag which should have loaded an additional 60 images but instead displayed the dreaded “Please clear applied filter and try again” message shown here:

    3. Finally, I clicked the Options dropdown list and selected “Show close match results (88)” option to load all 88 images.

Got any ideas on what this options does?  Anyone? Anyone?  Bueller? Bueller?

Thanks for following me on this problem.

    Hi,

It's the difference between AND & OR

If you have two tags selected then:-

Best Match = images for tag A AND tag B

Close match = images for tag A OR tag B

    Hope that helps
