I have just purchased an upgrade version of adobe elements and premiere for mac 2023. It seems to have downloaded and installed correctly but is very different from elements 9 my last version.  When I try to go into thenphoto editor the software comes back with try free download!  If I try premiere, which I dont need, it starts setting up asking for password. Is there a problem or am I doing something wrong? advice sort, thanks.

Photoshop Elements (photo editor) and Premiere Elements (video editor) are two separate programs that are installed separately and each have their own serial number.

You need to install both programs.  You also need to have the serial numbers from the programs from which you upgraded in order to deactivate the trial.

Thanks for the reply. It was a upgrade download of an old copy of elements 9, but seems I chose elements and premiere.

Not impressed with Adobe or their support, not given any activation 'keys', had to find on their site but only one for premiere. Support were no help whatsoever, life is too short I have cancelled and requested refund which they agreed to. I have used photoshop for 15 years, good program but dear me, after three hours dealing with this company now, no thanks, awful experience, I shall look elsewhere.

The prompt for password is normal for installing any app.

Did you enter the serial number for Elements? Or just go to Trial?
