I get this error whenever I open photoshop elements 10.0 on my mac. It won't let me save any new work.

This is what it says in Help>System Info:

Plug-ins that failed to load:

WhiteWindowWorkaround NO VERSION -  - from the file “OSXCompatibility.plugin”

Installed TWAIN devices: NONE

The WhiteWindowWorkaround/OSXCompatibility.plugin is 64 bit and since pse 10 is 32 bit and uses 32 bit plugins that's the reason for the message.

That error doesn't have anything to do with the saving problem.

You can go to /Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 10/Support Files/Plug-Ins and trash the OSXCompatibility.plugin.

What version of macOS do you have?

Is your pse 10 from the Apple App Store?

Jeff, Thank you!!   I deleted the plugin and now can open ps without the error.  Unfortunately, I still cannot save any new documents. If I save a document as a ps file, when i go to reopen, it says "could not complete your request because the file is empty".  Any thoughts how to correct that?

Mac Version is 10.13.6

I'm pretty sure it was an app store purchase, however, it was from 2011 and probably from an old app store login.
