Open Images but do not Display

I open a PSD, CR2, JPG or any other image file in Photoshop Elements 11 and nothing displays.  Software was working perfectly about a week ago but not now.  Open any file and it does not open.  Cannot find a log file for Elements and there is nothing in the windows application / system logs.  Looked for some place to reset the application but can't find that either.

Actually the resolution was fairly simple, I did a reboot and all was well.

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.
