Is it possible to go directly into the organiser from a desktop icon, avoiding having to first enter by way of the "introductory" page which shows "Oganiser, Photo Editor, Video Editor " and all the other features on offer?

Same solution as for the editor:  create a desktop shortcut to the exe file of the organizer:

By default C:> programmes > Adobe > Elements23 Organizer > PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe

You can even create such a desktop shortcut from the main database file in your chosen catalog folder:

catalog.pse21db

Just as a matter of interest I've got the shortcuts for the Organiser and the Editor set up ok but I can't see the catalog/database anywhere. Not too fussed but I woud appreciate it if you could check that it is still the same for pse23. Cheers

When you loaded Elements you should have two icons, one is for organizer and the other for editor.
You can select either to open.
