Organizer '24 will not import PNG files

Running PSE 24.  Importing pictures in small batches (1000) through get files and folders.   At the end of the process it indicates that some files were not imported as it does not swupport that format.  All the files seem to be PNG files.  I have PNG files in my catalog from previous versions.  Is there a way to import these files?

    Can you show us a screenshot of the message.  Sometimes the error message may say that the files have not been imported either because the format is not supported OR because (a copy of) the file has already been imported into the catalog. 

     

    Is it possible that the files are copies of files that exist in the catalog?  If not, can you attach a sample file that was not imported and we can investigate it further.

    Thanks for the reply.  It looks like the file content does not match the extension.  That may be the issue.  I'll work the problem from that side.
