Question

Organizer and Premiere Elements 15 crash at launch after Windows 10 Creators Update

The programs still work when I start them as administrator, otherwise they produce the "... has stopped working" error.

I have already tried the following methods:

- repaired the organizer catalogue as administrator

- deleted the preferences

- searched for the lavasoft-program (not installed)

- searched the windows event log for the problematic module: nvoglv64.DLL -> installed the newest nvidia-driver (381.89)

- re-installed PSE and Premiere Elements

But I still cannot use the Organizer and Premiere Elements as a normal user - PSE works.

Any other ideas?

Just installed the new nvidia-driver 382.05 and everything is working again!

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Can you please try clearing preferences once? To do so, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift keys while launching Organizer. A dialog will pop up asking to delete Settings file?

Say yes. Now see if you are able to launch Organizer.

There might be a case where the preference got corrupted, so you can try re-installing Premiere Elements once.

Thanks,

Anwesha

Thank you for the answer, but clearing the preferences in this way did not help.
