Organizer does not show empty folder on share drive

I use Photoshop Elements Organizer 2025 on Mac OS.

My pictures are stored on a Synology NAS and this is connected as a drive (/photo).

Catalogue and tagging works fine. But when I'd like to move the pictures on a new folder, which is still empty, it is not shown in the library.

The folder is available through Finder.

Not that there is not a solution, maybe, but generally Adobe has cautioned about using a NAS with their software because of issues just like what you're facing.

Just a single external drive connected directly to your Mac would work fine for the same thing your trying to do with a NAS.

Thanks for the response.
NAS is a RAID system an used for high availability reasons

I know nothing about Macs, but on Windows, the solution would be to right-click on the parent folder (in the My Folders panel) which contains the empty folder and select the option to Show All SubFolders from the context menu.

Show All is greyed out for this path/folder. It is possible on the harddrive path though
