Organizer Freezes

Can someone please explain to me why the issues with the Organizer freezing have not been fixed? The problem has existed on Elements 11 and 14 for me. I know I don't have the more recent version of PSE but I've read that the problem still exists so I'm not going to again upgrade if it still isn't fixed. I've tried various "solutions" to fix it but nothing has worked. I question why we would need to take these steps anyway? Why hasn't Adobe fixed it in subsequent versions? I have spent an enormous amount of time trying to work with the software, using face recognition, identifying places, etc. I get frustrated spending so much time with it, that I give up and am then left with an unorganized plethora of photos that will take even more time to sort out.

I'm on an iMac and keep versions updated and I have plenty of space to run the program so I cannot see any reason why it does not work. I've posted about this before but still get answers that require numerous steps to take. None of them have worked for me and I again don't understand why Adobe can't fix it. Am I the only person who is still dealing with it? I'm very disappointed with Adobe but since complaining about it hasn't helped at all, I'll stop posting about it now, but if anyone can suggest another software program that can do what the Organizer is suppose to be able to do, I would really appreciate that feedback.
