Organizer's Places Tags Broken

After not adding any new photos to Organizer for a few months, I added a bunch from a recent trip to Kenya. When I went to tag them by "Add new place" in the Places tab, instead of the map that usually shows there, I get "Sorry, we can't find that page". I can't figure out a workaround to tag my photos. The only change in my system has been a new Mac update (now Sonoma 14.4.1).

I had this same issue a few years ago and it was solved by upgrading to the latest PE, but I am already using PE 2024.

Suggestions?

I'm embarrased to say I solved the problem when I doscovered that I had accidentally opened the Organizer from PSE 2020 instead of 2024. I have since deleted the PSE 2020 from my apps. The Places feature still works great with 2024.

@DVision123 I have never seen anything like your screenshot.  Something is obviously wrong.  I suggest you uninstall and reinstall the program.

I just cant work out how places is suppose to work? I have just dowloaded a tril of organizer 2025 and places seems useless.. It was in 2023 just thought it may have been fixed. This is what I get..

At least with 2023 i got a map, however no locations were given unless you added them yourself.

I know the photos have location data on them because if i download them from elements to my google pjhotos it give the location immediatly.

Am i missing something?

I don't have any experience with Macs.  But because of all the issues over the years with the Places feature, I use keyword tags to tag locations.  (I have no need or desire to use geo-tagging or to see the photos I've taken on a map.)

The problem you are seeing may just be a temporary server issue.  See if it continues for a day or two and report back.
