Organizer when crazy

Using a Mac Pro with 4,062 photos and 200 videos. PhotoShop Elements 2020 Organizer morph them into over 15.000 files! Duplications all over the place, but not every photo.

What happen? Can I delete them and start over?

I am not a Mac user, but 'duplications all over the place' have been reported if you are using both Time Machine and the organizer. To help expert Mac users help you, give more info, especially the OS version and screenshots if possible.
