Original image not appearing fully in editor.

HI. I have just started with Adobe Photoshop elements. When I try to import an image into the editor screen only part of the original image appears in the elements editor. This does not happen with all photos but does with some. What am I doing wrong please? Unfortunately it happens on the ones I need to try to edit out a mark in top corners. (someone had their finger over part of lense) Thanks Neil

    Go to Edit > Preferences > General and check the box for Zoom with Scroll Wheel. You can then use the scroll wheel to resize it.

    Thank you Peru Bob. Unfortunately it doesn't help. I have attached 2 photos. The first is original image. The second is similar to the image that appears in the editor after transferring original. It is not exactly the same but you get the idea. The left side of original image disappears on transfer.

    What is the original image pixel size and what is your canvas size?

    It looks like your canvas is too small.

    Image > Resize >Canvas size to change the canvas size.
