overcome 'no longer supports'

   i have been using the same Photoshop Elements 12, purchased long ago.    i no longer remember the Adobe ID# for the product, or where i may have 'safely' stashed it.    i still have the purchased PsE12 CD and the serial#.    My hp tower developed a 'boot loop', and the operating system needed to be replaced.    Files and extraneous systems were backed up, but some could not, and were lost, as was PsE12.    The PsE12 program downloaded completely and perfectly from the vintage CD into the newly replaced OS in the hp, and worked perfectly for several days.  Then Adobe jumped in and prompted that the old ID# be provided in order to allow PsE12 to continue to function as it just had been.    Absent providing to Adobe that ID#,  Adobe caused the program to cease functioning.     At 81 years old, and not used to whining and complaining, i don't get it.    And Adobe doesn't need my several bucks as much as i appreciate PsE 12, and i don't need learning new stuff now.     Please and thank you, any thoughts?

I have removed your email addresses from your post.  This is a public forum and we don't like personal information being displayed, particularly when talking about account information.

 

So, have you tried entering the email addresses in the dialog that is presented to you?

 

With the limited information you are giving us about the message you are receiving, all I can suggest is that you try contacting Elements support to help figure out what email address was used when you registered the program. You can start a chat session by going to the Contact Adobe Support page. (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen).  Try typing Agent when the chat window opens.  That should avoid a robo chat agent.  (If you use my link, the chat window should open automatically.)

If you have the CD with the serial number, that should be all you need.  If the issue is something else, we need to know the exact message you are receiving.

Or are you saying that you do not remember the email address (ID?) you used to register the program?

Thank you for responding. Adobe requested an Adobe ID. If in fact it was the email address at that time, years ago, it was either [address removed by Moderator] or something prior that i do not recall today, years later. i am thinking that Adobe has both that EYEphoto and the recent [address removed by Moderator] in their records.
