Painfully slow Adobe Elements 2026 on Windows 11

Using Adobe Elements 2026 on a Windows 11 with 16gb ram so plenty to play with but its so painfully slow on start up, loading photos in the organiser and editor and it lags behind when editing, only started the slowdown this week….please advise as one is rather frustrated by the slowness?

    Had the same agonizing delay with PSE 2023 and PSE 2026 loading their workspaces on my Windows 11 laptop.  Of interest I just downloaded and installed PSE 2023 on a Windows 10 laptop and the workspace loads in less than 5 seconds!  I’ll next try 2026 on the Win10 laptop and see what happens.

    Worked it out….Lenovo software update….. now Camera Raw requires GPU acceleration….I despair at Tech !!
