PE 14 download?

I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 14 which has always worked fine but suddenly it won't open at all and when I try to uninstall I get a message that it needs to be updated to work with my OS - I'm running monterey on a 2015 MacBook pro, intel, but haven't upgraded the OS recently. So, strange. Can I reinstall PE14 from somewhere? I'm perfectly happy with it. I tried installing 2023 but of course my serial number is no longer valid. And I can't reinstall from DVD since the MacBook doesn't have a dvd reader.

I have had some problems recently changing my user name on the MacBook (which, I've now learnt, cannot easily be done...), I suspect there's path that's been lost and PE can't find whatever files it needs to launch.

Don't uninstall. Maybe there's another way to fix it, but when you chose to upgrade past Catalina, it blocked you from installing or reinstalling all old apps FOREVER.

Maybe I can fix it - different things happen when I try to launch it, ranging from nothing at all, to opes perfectly (once, so far). Otherwise I get to the screen that asks to choose Photo Editor, Video Editor or Organiser, but then no further. I'm away from my backup at the moment but I'll see if I can restore it. Otherwise I guess it's an upgrade.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to reinstall pse 14, since it uses a 32 bit installer/unistaller and Apple

depreciated 32 bit apps starting with macOS Catalina 10.15.

Since pse 14 itself is 64 bit it kept working, which happens sometimes if one is lucky, but if

something goes wrong and a reinstall is required it just won't install because of using that 32 bit installer.

You can upgrade to pse 2023 with a discount and that works perfectly fine on Monterey.
